Issue
You need to install or reinstall Citrix Workspacefor first time use, or troubleshooting purposes.
Environment
Microsoft Windows 10 & 11, Citrix Workspace Application
Resolution
If Citrix is currently installed, start here. If you do not have Citrix installed on your computer, you can proceed to Step 4:
IMPORTANT: Before attempting to install Citrix, you should either be connected to the ECCompany_Private Wi-Fi, Ethernet in an EC Office, or if working remote, connected to Cato VPN. Otherwise you may run into issues downloading Citrix or logging into your account upon the installation and setup stage.
- Open Add or Remove Programs: Open Add or Remove programs by navigating to your Windows Search bar on the bottom of your screen.

- Uninstall Citrix: Search for Citrix Workspace, then click on the 3 dots to the right, and click "Uninstall".

- You will receive various prompts confirming that you want to uninstall the program. You will accept all of these. It may take a few minutes for the uninstall to finish. Once done, the Citrix icon on your task bar may just disappear, not confirming the application was successfully uninstalled.
- Download Citrix Workspace: Next, open a web browser and go to http://storefront.e-c-co.com/
- Select "Detect Citrix Workspace App"

- Then select "I Agree" "Download" to download the Citrix Workspace Installer. You will notice the file downloading in your web browser.
- Run Citrix Installer: Once the installer is done downloading, you can find it in your Downloads folder. Once you find it, double click it to run the installer. It may take a minute or so for the application to open up, this is normal.

- Once the app is open, you will see a screen saying "Welcome to Citrix Workspace app". Click "Continue".

- Select "I agree", then "Continue".
- When you arrive to the "Add-on(s)" page, it is VERY important to ensure that ALL boxes are UN-CHECKED before clicking "Install".

- Configure Citrix: Citrix should then install. Once done, the Citrix app should automatically open up and bring you to a screen asking you to "Enter your Store URL or email address". Here, you will enter the same link we used to download the Citrix Installer - storefront.e-c-co.com . Then click "Continue".
- NOTE: It is important that you do not include "http://", otherwise you may receive an error. Reference the image below.

- Login to your account: You will then be brought to a log in screen where you will input your User name and Password.
- In most cases, your User name will be your First.Last name. If this does not work, you can try it without the "."(period) between your First and Last name (ex. FirstLast). If no luck, reach out to the MIS Service desk for assistance.
- Your password will be the same password you use to log into your computer or your email.
- Once done, if your credentials were entered correctly, you should arrive to your Citrix Workspace. You are now done!
Other information:
- - Sometimes when opening an app such as ConEst for the first time after installing Citrix, you will need to try opening the application 2 times before it will load correctly.
