Citrix: ConEst Intellibid - "Unable to Connect" error / Connecting to the ConEst Repository

Issue

Setting up ConEst for the first time and you receive a pop-up stating "Unable to Connect". This article will walk you through how to connect your ConEst to our ConEst Repository file.

Resolution

  1. Click OK on the pop-up box stating there is an error "Unable to Connect"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Next you will see a window labeled "Login to Intellibid. This box will have a Connection, User ID, and Password field. In the connection row, click the button with the 3 dot's "...". Upon clicking, a new window will open. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. In the new window, paste the link below in the URL field and hit enter. The URL field is the long rectangular box where you see " This PC > Documents" in the photo in step 2. Click in the white part of the box, and delete everything that was highlighted. Paste the link below, hit enter.
    1. \\ec-pdx-fs01\Shared\Applications\ConEst
  4. In this window, scroll to the bottom and look for the ConEst XML file. It may show an icon of a wrench. Click on that file, and click "Open" on the bottom right. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. Your ConEst is now connected to the Repository. Now, you just need to enter your Username and Password information to log in. If you haven't received this information yet, give the Helpdesk a call at (503) 552-5500.
