Drivers: Laptop - Installing Drivers for Tripplite USB-C Docking Station (U442-Dock21-B)

Step by step guide on how to install drivers for the Tripplite USB-C Docking Station (U442-Dock21-B)

1. Download the following 2 Files
   1. https://assets.tripplite.com/software/displaylink-usb-graphics-software-for-windows-11-10-8-1-7-ver-10-3-m0-msi.zip
   2. https://www.synaptics.com/node/5211?filetype=exe (you will need to agree to the Terms and Conditions)
2. Right Click on the First file you downloaded, and select "Extract All", followed by "Extract" ( you do not need to change the location of the extraction)
3. Open the file you just extracted and navigate to the "Win64" folder > then run the DisplayLink_Win10RS installer by double clicking.
4. If you get a popup from windows asking you to allow this app to make changes to your device, click "Yes"
5. The installer will run and simply disappear. Move on to Step 6.
6. Go back to your Downloaded files and now run the "DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows" Application. Click Yes on Allowing the app to make changes to your device. 
7. Let the installer run, and it will eventually open up an installer window. Click "Install" when the window pops up, and wait for it to install the software. 
8. Once the installer is done, click "Finish" then Restart your device. After the restart, unplug and re plug in your docking station to your computer and test to see if it works.
