Internet & Wi-Fi: Error "Can't connect to network" - ECCompany_Private and ECCompany_Guest

Issue

You are trying to connect to the Wi-Fi but are receiving an error prompt telling you "Can't connect to network".

Environment

Microsoft Windows. This issue is more common with newer Windows 11 devices. 

Resolution

  1. Go to your Wi-Fi Settings, find ECCompany_Private, right click and select "Forget"  Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Then, type "Network Reset" in your Windows search bar, and select the Network Reset option in System Settings. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. Select "Reset now" Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. The system will restart in 5 minutes automatically, but you can manually restart your computer to save time.
  5. Once your computer has restarted, find an Ethernet/Hard-line connection to the office network. Once you have connected to the Ethernet, you should see your computer connected to e-c-co.com.
  6. Then try connecting to the ECCompany_Private or Guest network again. You should be able to connect.
