Vista / Viewpoint: Vista Server Setup

Issue

Its your first time logging into Vista and you need to set up the Vista server. 

Environment

Vista / Viewpoint Desktop Application

Resolution

  1. Open Vista
     
  2. Copy the Vista Server Link Below and put it in the Vista Server field. You will need to click the "+" button to the right of the blank box. Once you paste the Vista server, you will need to clicking the check mark to the right to save the server.

  3. Once done, you should see a box below showing "Log in with Viewpoint ID", you will click this to log in every time. 
     
  4. You will then be routed to a webpage where you will will enter in your email address and log in. Log in using your company Email and Password. 
     
  5. Your Viewpoint may go through an update, as well as ask you to click a check box on a pop up for ViewpointURILauncher. You can accept it and click "Open".Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. You may need to open Viewpoint again if it doesn't completely open. 
     
  7. After the update, you will notice the sign in page looks a little different. You will now log in with Trimble ID. Reference the image below:Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  8. Done. You should now be able to access Vista.
